Frank Pender Jr.
Frank Pender Jr. has been a SW Board member since 2007. He lived in Monmouth for 13 years prior to moving to Dallas 39 years ago. Frank started working as a teacher in the area in 1969. Throughout his 30 years of service, he had over 4,000 students come through his classes. Frank retired from teaching in 1999. Since then he has spent his time operating his saw mill company, Tanglewood Timber Products, with his wife Alice by his side. Pender is also part of many local Boards such as the Fire Board, Polk Soil and Water Conservation District and Oregon’s Educational Service District.
